Cynthia Spera -Certified Public Accountant

A History of Helping Clients

Cynthia Spera is certified in North Carolina and  South Carolina.

She received her BBA from Hofstra University  in December 1988.

Worked as a Certified Public Accountant for 20 plus years at the AVZ CPA firm in Long Island, New York. Here is where she gained most of her professional experience performing audits, reviews and compilations as well as preparing corporate,  individual, non-profit tax returns, payroll tax and sales tax returns.  During this time she had three sons.

In 2008 she moved to North Carolina to take time off from work to raise her three sons. While she took time off she volunteered at the Elementary School as PTA Treasurer and served on the Finance Committee of her community HOA.

In 2013 she joined Scale Finance which is a firm offering integrated services for CFO/Controller support. In 2014 she joined Davies, Goldstein & Associates, CPA's for the 2014 tax season preparing tax returns and performing small audit and review engagements. In 2015 she opened her own accounting practice specializing in small businesses and taxes.

Her leisure time is spent on the tennis courts playing competitive tennis or spending time with her family.
